Govt College Kukumseri

Government College, Kukumseri is only college in the Lahaul & Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 1995. The College is located at Kukumseri village in Udaipur subdivision of Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at 32­^°44'55'' N latitude and 76⁰ 41'23'' E longitude at an elevation of 2672 m above mean sea level and is 42 km from Tandi on Tandi-Killar road just 5 km short of Udaipur and 50 km from district headquarter, Keylong. The College is about 195 kilometers far from Kullu via Manali and Rohtang pass and can easily approached by HRTC bus as well as Taxi.

The quality education that the college provides attracts students from different villages of Lahaul. The college has a well qualified and committed team of teachers who untiringly provide education in the streams of Arts and Commerce at undergraduate level.

The College has a well stacked library offers wide range of books in all streams and Magazines. A wide range of co-curricular activities are done in the college such as NSS, Eco Club, cultural and sports activities which helps in the development of all round personality of students. Women Development Cell, Career Guidance and Placement Cell have been established in the college to help students coming from diverse social backgrounds. College Students Central Association (CSCA), Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.) actively participate in the functioning of the college. A number of clubs formed in the college provide opportunity to the students to explore their talents.
